what i'm getting from e.l.f spree 4! (:

I really really like elf makeup coz they are really cheap and nice quality! And i'm super excited about their new lines, studio and sugar kiss! Here is what i have in mind that i wanna get from them, again!

1. Waterproof eyeliner pen in BLACK

I have this baby in coffee and i really like it! It makes eyeliner application really easy. When i'm on the rush and don't have the time for gel liners, I'll grab this. Its really uncomfortable to use at first coz the tip is really hard and it pokes very harshly. I have a tip: just push the tip onto a piece of paper to soften it and it'll be ok!

2. Duo eyeshadow cream in Sugar Cookie!

I have 2 duo eyeshadow creams already from previous sprees. One in Olive, and one in Berry mix. Both i absolutely love! I love the pink side of the Berry Mix as a base colour, and sometimes i got not time for eyeshadows, i just put on the light side of Berry Mix and its really nice. Sadly i seldom find a use for the maroon side of Berry Mix. Olive has a really unique olive greenish brown, and i don't think i've seen such a shade anywhere else before. Its gorgeous! I also had Black Licorice before but i sold it away coz i don't wear smokey eye at all. I'm more comfortable with simple and light eye colours so i don't find a use with Black Licorice. Oh i forgot to mention! all the cream eyeshadows are super pigmented. For this price i'm really satisfied with the product. Its awesome!

now i'm going to get one of their new shades - Sugar Cookie! Coz i realised i don't really use dark colours often, and Sugar Cookie will be great for me coz both colours are light colours.

3. Duo Eyeshadow

Now the cream eyeshadow duo comes in powder versions! Awesome to travel with! I'm definitely grabbing the Black Licorice one coz i need a black powder eyeshadow that i can travel with. Yay! Butter Pecan and Mocha Swirl are on the list too! Great for neutral looks! I wasn't impressed with the Eyeshadow Quads, hope this one will be better (:

4. ELF Nail Polishes

I have this in Red, Black and Light Pink and White already and i must say i'm impressed! They go on really smoothly. Definitely getting more. Thinking of Nude, Champagne and Mod Mauve! They have such a wide selection of colours!

5. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

Too many gurus on Youtube have complimented this product! Definitely not missing this.

6. Translucent Matifying Powder

Recently my face has turned soooooo oily. I'm not even kidding when i tell u i wake up every morning with my face wet with oil! It just kinda suddenly became like that. So this will come in really handy! (:

7. elf healthy glow bronzing powder in Luminance
i already have one of this but it broke! its gorgeous as a highlight. so im getting another one!


Other stuff i will not get but i recommend getting!

1. ELF blush in Shy.

Its the perfect pink colour! I also have elf blush in Glow and Innocent. But my favourite is Shy! Its such a radiant colour without being overdone. and its really cheap too!

2. ELF Mechanical eyelash curler

Really like the mechanics of this curler. the only bad thing is the padding. I'm not sure if they've changed the padding yet! But some lucky ppl get softer paddings, while unlucky ones (like me) got the hard one which is so difficult to work with. but just pop in one of ur spare paddings inside and it'll be great!

3. Super glossy lip shine spf 15
Its great coz
- It has alot of product inside
- it smells absolutely wonderful
- it's quite pigmented
- if has spf 15!
I have this in pink kiss and malt shake. love both!! also recommend Goddess. alot of ppl's favourite!

4. ELF eyeshadow brush
I have one of this already. I really really like this brush. really hope i can find a supplier that can supply this kinda brush!! but my suppliers all do shader brush only. URGH.

5. ELF blending brush
lovely brush. get it or regret it!

6. Candy Shop Lip Tin
Smells yummy, goes on beautifully, contains a LOOOOT of product, super cute packaging, i got one of each colour already!


*pants. getting tired of typing*

Stuff that i will strongly discourage from buying.

1. Nail Block
A. Total. Piece. Of. Crap. Threw it out 1 minute after i got it coz it sucks! You can find a review of it somewhere on my blog. URGH. it was such a waste of money.

2. Brightening eye color
I'd say don't get this if you are looking for very pigmented eyeshadows.

3. Studio Eye Primer and Sealer
Tried it, didn't like it at all. didn't do anything to my lids except maybe brightening it abit? eyeshadow creased and faded. :( Liner sealer side is ok though. but then i use water and its the same..

4. Hypershine gloss
i don't know what other ppl think of this.. but to me it stiiiinks! maybe i just got a bad batch??

5. Liquid eyeliner
i liked it at first.... until it started to flake! my whole eye was covered with flakes! (ok not that bad but u get the idea). the strange thing is, some ppl dun experience flaking. i guess its my oily lids again. :(

yup thats all!!! i have alot of elf stuff that i have, i don't really recommend them strongly but i don't really dislike them too. for the price they are decent.
